I attended a charity car show over the past weekend to raise money for the restoration of a local landmark. Back in the 1920's, a Des Moines resident decided to build a new house, and patterned it off The King's House in Salisbury.
I stumbled across a raft of Jaguar XK's (120 to 150), a smattering of MG's, the obligatory Silver Cloud and Silver Wraith, but also found some others that aren't seen too often this side of the pond. Did a bit of Googling about and found some of them are pretty thin on the ground in general. Here are a few snaps of the better ones:

I'm sure when they built it, the neighbors never thought they'd see such a thing in the middle of Iowa!
Thought it might be fun to share - and it served as a pleasant escape from all the presidential candidates larking about town lately.
