LINDA (Lua Integrated Non-complex Device Assigning) is a freeware program that works with FSUIPC to make assigning FS button controls (not axis) easier. There's a dedicated forum at Avsim. (http://forum.avsim.net/forum/424-linda/)
Uses profiles, so different aircraft can have different setups. It uses LUA scripts to send commands to FS via FSUIPC, but you don't need to be able to write the scripts yourself (unless you're trying do do something complicated!) as there are pre-built libraries for standard FS commands, and many aftermarket aircraft.
Very powerful, and very useful! Recommended.

DaveG,
many thanks for that intro. I found the Linda website but the links to the forum all seem to be unresolvable at the moment - I haven't had the patience to wait and see if it eventually gives a "not found" message.

Did some browsing but couldn't find any modules / libraries for any aircraft, even those on the list in the Mutley's Hangar review. Do these come with the aircraft itself ?

Thanks again,
Ro

All the download links are on the Avsim forums. The actual program is here:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/456174-new ... -released/, and various modules on this page: http://forum.avsim.net/forum/427-linda-downloads/

Hi Rohan,
Yes, I got a message about unavailability too.
Alex's link took me to the d/l OK, where I read that you also need a registered FSUIPC.
I'm interested, but not this week.

Thanks for the HU DaveG

I can't get to them from my phone either. I'm wondering if this is where we have have an IP address that has been banned on their server. :dunno:
