Andy , saw the notams for the oil spill exercises [ we often do trial lessons round Old Harry rocks ] ... but FL100 over the Cranborne Chase ...... didn't hear you , and Cherokees don't get that high . If you are positioning North , Compton Abbas would appreciate a fly by , or stop off for Tea and Cake .

Re: Duxford last Friday
I envy you all, its nice to see a twotter again. Its been about 25 or 30 years since I've seen one in person. Not too many around southern California since Golden West Airlines left the scene. The STOL performance was something to see. It was really funny to see a 747 holding short for a one at KLAX and then see it airborne before the next taxiway. Viking up in Canada has the old Dehavilland of Canada (pre-Bombardier) prop inventory. The "new" Twin Otter is their first production. Don't like the "glass" cockpit on the new twotter. For some reason, it just doesn't seem proper.
