If you want the toned-down VC, I'll upload the textures.
Yes please Dave
As DaveB said it is a little sprightly but definitely worth flying in P3Dv2. I do wonder about the sound package though so I will investigate more.

If you would please, Dave. I think I prefer yours. And can you knock up a Washington while you're at it ?

There's a Washington over at SimOuthouse, and I think the same one at Avsim.
I'll upload the VC textures in the morning (not at the PC at the mo)

I got the Washington paint from Allnodes.. b29wf555.zip by Dave Quincey. Probably the same paint at SoH though without looking, I can't be sure

Here are the new textures:
http://daveg.cbfsim.org/files/B29VCtex.zip
As the textures are spread over many sheets, it's a pain to work out which bits are which, so I basically recoloured everything that was that shade of green. You'll find that things like gear bays, flaps etc therefore have also been changed. If you don't like it, you know what to do

Well, sort of too late now.....bought the B-29 and the Scimitar today. Surprised a little with the latter. I've always liked the design but was a little surprised that it commanded such a high price, when only a small file to download. Only tried it once on a Cornish round robin and need to explore more when get the time. Very pleased with the 29 though. Not normally one for large aeroplanes, but this one is growing on me!
Cheers,
Martin
