Whoa! Thankyou very much for your kind comments.

I am about to make another video flight from Manila to Hong Kong (Kai Tak). A lovely short flight for a 747 (1hr 30min) which will be the full flight with a dusk arrival (As FT's Kai Tak really is incredibly beautiful at dusk IMO)
regards

Ed

Oh yes please!!!!! When I was with BA we used to operate those 'shuttles' from Kai Tak to Manila and back and I sat on the flight deck several times for the evening landing into Kai Tak. So that I want to relive very much indeed!

Don't forget to let us know when it's up.

Hi Ed,

Great video,

That shot towards the end of the Cathay 747 is "as real as it gets", i have a couple of VHS tapes from 96 & 98 and that shot i could say came from one of those real life landings,

As much as i don't want to admit it but you make that first landing look Easy  its was bit hit and miss with me at times when i had 9 Dragons in F9,

Cheers,

Roger.

Aaargh! I can smell it. The fragrant harbour :$

Absolutely amazing, Ed. Why can't any of us manage anything like that? You must have done a deal with the devil

'Morning chaps! here is the video of my flight CX900 from Manila to Hong Kong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srE6GKnlZA0

Proof if needed that I don't always get it right and that Kai Tak is not a jump in and fly approach but needs a lot of practise. lol (At least I had the inside track)

Ed
