Hi Chaps
This is a straight forward ISv2 question..
You will have seen around the forum that I've been adding stuff to Old Warden and Kinloss. Having posted the couple of shots of OW.. I returned later to find
some of the statics weren't there

Just in case.. I popped up to Kinloss and most of what I'd added was also missing

So.. I went into IS (in sim) and selected 'open bgl' (for Kinloss).. the scenery files rewrote and up popped the rest of the statics. The same with OW.
Question is.. why did that happen?
When you add an object, IS asks add to a particular bgl or another.. you can't just add them willy-nilly without them going anywhere. Both bgl's were in Addon Scenery/Scenery which shouldn't.. as far as I can see.. have mattered. I've since put them into respective scenery folders.. ie, my Kinloss statics now live in the Kinloss scenery folder and my OW statics live in UK2KVFR part 2/scenery. This for some reason seems to make a difference but I don't know why. With the other odds and sods I've added around the West Midlands.. their bgl's live in Addon Scenery/Scenery and they work fine
