 Thanks, Eric. That's a bit disturbing, mate. Feelings of inadequacy

But the only thing I can take any credit for is the composition of the screenshots. The rest of it is down to the scenery and aircraft developers. I just press the button when I think it looks good :worried:

I now only choose aircraft and scenery that work simply and effectively, with the minimum of fiddling, and look good (to me! ). So there's nothing special about my FS. You just buy it and install it :worried:

Ian :)

Don't worry Ian,I'm not feeling suicidal! I still enjoy my FS,in fact I've been using it a bit more often lately.Mostly short hops using the Viscount,748 Varsity etc.I've also had a few more goes at the Captainsim 757 despite its hit on frame rates.I wanted to compare it to the LevelD 767.I have to pull the sliders etc back a bit for the 757.My old pc manages reasonably well, but when the time comes for a replacement I will take the opportunity to consider which way to go e.g. FSX,P3D or stay with FS9. I know that there is plenty of help and advice around here. :agree:  EricT

Makes me feel a bit inadequate in terms of FS! EricT
I thought that about mine a few months ago. I bought Active Sky 2012 and the ORBX England Scenery. I also got a new (only to me!) graphics card and now it's like a whole new Sim.

I was very much in the same boat as you Eric having an old PC that even struggled with FS9 however after it died and went to that Great Scrapyard in the Sky  I got a more powerful one (mid-range I would say) but with a good graphic card. after a year of flying FS9 I then decided to try FSX. For me that is the turning point in FS basically due to better scenery being available and aircraft are also greatly improved!! but FS9 is still alive on my computer and very much doubt that it will go into the recycle bin......just yet!!

Back on topic.....Ian, brilliant shots mate and appears to be a good landing!! you appear to be enjoying the ORBX experience!!

Regards
Nigel
