The only 748 flight I ever had was Southampton Guernsey and return

8,000 South...7,000 North

Unfortunately they were niether long legged or fast. A trip back from RAF Nicosia in a 780 went like this:

Day 1
Souda Bay (Crete) fuel stop
Naples overnight stop :guinn:

Day 2
Istres (France) fuel stop and lunch :guinn:
Thorney Island home late afternoon :guinn:

Every so often 46sqn would fly one back from Masirah for maintenance and it took days to get it back.
