Don't be hard on yourself! IMHO quite a few of the examples you've given us on a par with some of the better regulars over there (although a few such as Dietz, Russell Smith and Mark Postlethwaite are head an shoulders above the rest - and should be as they're professionals!). :) Their "ready room" is an excellent section to show off WIPs and finished work, particular to mere collectors like me (I have to look at aviation art on t'internet nowadays. As Mrs C would testify, we've run out of walls.).

In the time honoured manner of the MSFS gurus here, here is something I knocked up today for Tom. Still a bit of 'tweaking' still to do, but the eyes are a bit tired! I will finish her off when I get from my trip to the UK next week.

The weather was crap, so a day in my 'studio' produced G-ADXT, an aircraft that Tom is now working with. You can see some better renditions of her (and book a ride in her) at this website!

Thanks Tom, its about twice as big as the version here and is in Acrylic on paper.

When it is finished (the damn lettering needs a tidy up, amongst other things), I can easily get it to the UK, if you (or your team) want it.

A decent frame (similar to the Gladiator) can be bought at IKEA for 6 quid!

The price of this (soon to be famous artist) masterpiece???......well lets hear what people here would pay for something like this, on the open market :dunno:

Hi Trev

I also paint & do commissions for people (the last one was a HP.42!), and at a reasonable guess, I would value your watercolours in the region of ₤125-₤200, which is about right for a commissioned watercolour.

Hi Ben, the stuff I do is acrylic, but that is the sort of price I was think about, depending on size. At the moment, as these are really 'learning stuff', I am looking for between 50 and 75 quid for a commision. Now, I am back home (after a freeziing week in Blighty), I will try and finish the Tiger ASAP.

Thats good to know Trev

I'm really going to have to get back into it soon, I'm having images in my head of a grey Lightning F6 taking off from Binbrook under a dark & moody sky with full reheat on going through my head

Time to order me a 4ft Canvas methinks! :o

Here is a very poor photo of my latest painting.....

Image

This is a real life commision :kissu: for a family friend who is an ex-RAF guy who later became a vicar!!! He has always loved the Tiger Moth, so this has been created for his 70th birthday. The church in the background and poppies (rememberance) are there for a reason. The very small frame is for transit only, I have to get to the UK by air (hand luggage) where it will be taken by car to France (where he lives) where it will be framed properly.

It is 30 x 40 cms and acrylic on paper. The cost..... about 60 quid, minus the frame!!

You really have talent, I envy you. Have you ever done a painting of the Mosquito. I have a friend how is nuts on the old
mossie, he has about every plastic kit that has ever been made for it in various sizes. Some of his pictures are stunning
so another to add to his collection would be great.
