No guesses for pic #2 then? I actually have the hard copy of this photograph and it is dated 1919. There's a clue!

No, you're in the wrong county now! Nothing was built at Wisley as far as I am aware until after WWII. I believe the site was "discovered" when Mutt Summers made a forced landing in the fields in 1942.

I very nearly said Stag Lane yesterday, but it'd be about the right time frame. Never seen photos though.

Re No.3. I worked briefly with George Aird when he was flying 748 for Janes Aviation out of Blackpool in the mid 90s. Lovely chap!
