Hi coldwarvet

Brian states that the shop is not yet working in one of the above messages.

Forum & links work for me but shop does not.

Brian says 3 posts or so up
Yes it looks as though you're correct, however the DNS replication of the original site name http://www.skysim.co.uk has now completed, so that is useable as well. Please note however that whilst we have the site back the shop is still offline.... (ouch!)
I only make models .
I have no idea how the shop works :$

Regards
Rick ;-)

All i want is the Hawk released as the suspence feels like i have aged about 10 years in the last 3 days as i had counted down the weeks until the July 1st release then it didn't happen :fart:

I have created an account at sky-sim, and received confirmation by e-mail. However, I can't log on because my e-mail address is not recognised.

I have tried e-mailing sky-sim, but get delivery failure notices.

What's going on?

Dennis.

Hi Dennis..

I guess Brian will pop up here at some point in the not too distant with a sitrep on their current problems. I'm certain that they're all as eager to start selling the Hawk as everyone here is to buy it and this last minute setback must be frustrating to say the least ;-)

Fingers crossed the Skysim server should be back online line midnight on Sunday. We have had some major breakthroughs today but will still need to carry out testing and with me away at Waddington over the weekend...

Reminds me of the interview done with the Vulcan pilot. When asked about funding to keep the project going now it had got this far.. he replied that he knew nothing about that, he was but a simple pilot

I sent another e-mail to Gordon this morning, and as I haven't received a "delivery failure" notice, I guess it got through.

I've not had a reply yet, but some progress must have been made.

Dennis.

Sorry for the lack of news gents but I can report that we have definitely closed down a lot of the problems with the site and think we've found the 64bit problem too, what's that about counting chickens....
