...and any uninvited guests can be seated at the Dornier, Heinkel. and Messerschmidt tables. But seriously, how about tables named AVRO, de Havilland, Hawker Siddeley, Supermarine, and Vickers. I really like BAe146's idea of using aircraft models as centerpieces. You probably wouldn't even have to detail the models. Just build the model and then paint the entire aircraft one color such as silver. That would give them sort of an elegant artistic look.
Along the same lines as Brian's suggestion above, you could place uninvited guests at the USAir table. (apologies to any US Airways workers who may be reading this)...
Ah, your're back Eddie .....for a time I thought I had been imagining this post!!
Only have the one suggestion for you as others' have already given names so, as it is a tradition to invite the vicar after the service to the reception then you could name the table as:
The Vickers table.
Regards and best wishes for next May.
Nigel.
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
Loving these ideas guys. I might be forced to keep the names relatively simple however. Mainly so our guests don't get too confused with anything too technical.
Naturally the final decision will be of a classic and British theme. ;-)
Thanks for the contributions so far!
I suffer from paranoid amnesia. I can't remember who I don't trust.
