Oh Brill!! This sounds really good. Only trouble is......On nights this week and booked up all this weekend.... :'(

Maybe, just maybe, some-one will do a multi-session next week when I am on leave?

Here's hoping. :prayer:

I won't be available until next week at some point. On leave this week but I left my joystick back at work :@

Loving the idea of this though! Chippies all round sounds good to me

i remember trying comms with ventrilo and got one voice, then it went dead. so this sounds like it works and i would like to have a bash if able. so what programs are required to get connected both fs and voice. the only fly in the ointment is i'am five hours behind you chaps :'( in the uk.

I second TS and as for Canucks I have no idea what I qualify as anymore as I have been over here for 15 years but still have a Brit passport...lol. I'm in for some fun and thankfully I don't have a timezone problem as I am stuck at home 24/7 since I became ill. :-(

I just blew the dust off my FS9 (I only keep it on the HD to check repaints) and I still have the Chippies installed so I am good to go. :welldone:

I'd love to join in. Should have several "nights" off next week to fly. I can fly from 2100Z til whenever on Sunday, until 1900Z Mon-Thurs, and anytime Friday or Saturday.

ok good to see some replys back .....
I'm not familiar with using teamspeak, I'll take a look at that.

for those not familiar with making a Fs multisession it's easy as pie.

I'll post the instructions.........
one thing about the choice of communication program
when using teamspeak , do you get a private channel so only the team here will
be privy to the conversation?

Also in FS9 we can have upto 15 members in at the same time
but maybe we should reserve one or two spots for people who could fly around the formation
to take pics and video , this will make it much eaiser to stay in formation..... and therefore Not run into buildings
as your wing man tells you there is a building ahead of you,, when it's really behind you........ :worried: :$

multisession connection steps
open FS to the create a flight screen
and from the list on the right choose "multiplayer"

the next screen click on "open multiplayer session"

then type this in the IP Address search line type "" netwings.org "" and click search (Or another site or an IP address
this is the one Tony and Nigel used)

Image

then your name

the sever will apear in the the sessions list like in the picture above

then click on join
a chat window will apear when you start the flight ,,, right ?
you should see our names in the text box notifying you when we are in the multisession
from there we can text each other so we get to the same airport and
choose an aircraft everybody can see (( if you have a plane that I don't , you'll show as a cessna or something

or if you have a headset and msn or skype or teamspeak then we can just talk which is much easier..
so thats pretty much it...

if the chat window doesn't appear when your running at an airport
put your mouse pointer over Flights
then in the list ..... Multiplayer will extend three options to the right once connected
click on chat window

you can also connect and disconnect from the multisession
through the same way.

so like five or six steps
