First taste of on-line flying

Post by Nigel H-J »

Wow, what an experience!! :welldone:

Flew with Joe this afternoon with one flight from Heathrow to London Airport in a Chippie then the second flight in a Beech Bonanza from Meigs Field, thoroughly enjoyed my flying experience with Joe though he did manage to trash a couple of apartments!!

Heading back to Meigs Field he was up ahead of me merrily talking away when I said "have you got a building in front of you?" Still he continued to chat away quite happily "Joe, you are flying straight towards that building"!! Nope, still chatting he was, "Joe, your're going to hit"!!...........................BANG.......Ooops.......he hit!!

Sorry Joe, did say that was going to be kept a secret. :$ Just don't know what came over me to say that!!

Anyway, just one picture of us flying over London unfortunately I did not save the other picture I took but hopefully Joe will post his here.

Thanks for a brilliant session Joe (airboatr)

No, didn't make it with the posh lot up there, born in Usk and lived in a place called Panteg near Pontypool.

Got a photo of where I used to live, hang on and I will find it.

Here you are Garry, always makes me feel a bit sad when I look at this photo, The Olde Cottage (one on the right facing you with the pole in front of it) is no longer there as was pulled down not long after we left for Nottingham. One bedroom upstairs which was accessed by a half spiral wooden staircase, you entered the living room by the front door and I shared a bedroom on the ground floor with my sister. The toilet was in the back garden and bl@@dy cold in the winter, my father had an old Austin Seven then.

looking backards to get both planes in the shot
so technically the building was...... BEhind mE!!! :worried:

good fun and a nice oportunity to meet another fine member of CBFS
 Nigel :)

Pringle

yes you can get in on the action mate
I'm trying to get a bunch of us at once , having as many
different CBFS classics originating from the the developers here.
we can do up to fifteen at once ,
with skype we can all communicate to coordinate the formation
with a headset...

that would make some nice pictures for the gallery :dancer:
