Horizon GenerationX updates

This is extracted from the thread on the Horizon Simulation Gen-X support forum announcing the update :-

Hi Charles & cisleib

Will an alternative distribution be available to those of us who don't find this a practical solution? For instance, by means of DVD's through the mail - I assume all three sets will be remastered and re-released at some point and could be made available to existing customers, perhaps for a fair service charge.

Disks to include Nightlighting will be made available to registered users (on request) free and entirely at our expense in keeping with our promise. However, re-mastered product disks including all the pending updates such as watermasks etc, will only be made available as replacements to existing registered users at cost. ( "cost" being costs to cover manufacturing, handling and shipping) We'll endevour to provide more information about this as soon as possible. Suffice to say for now though that cost will mean cost, and there is no question of us doing it for profit.

Thanks John, the use of the future tense (life is all verbs here :-( ) seems to indicate that the night textures are still not sorted, or is this an old post?

They're nearly ready. But then too many people have been told that before.

There's a demo of the Heathrow area. Looks quite good:

I think it's hard to get a good representation with just a small area. But I think it will look good!

BTW, does anyone know why the G meter is missing from my Chippie, and why the compass is see-through?

If it's FS9.. maybe. If it's FSX, no.. I had nothing to do with that
