Beautiful shot of the engine start of the Vampire, the pilot was the one that flew the Dove when I went there over a year ago........though seems longer than that somehow!!

I just loved that Nigel,I was there on that day as I was last year.This year I flew on the Dak G-AMPY,in fact I saw her passing over today en-route to and from Doncaster.The pilot of the Vampire was John Corley.The AA events always seem to be such friendly affairs.Best Wishes EricT
