Video Air Atlantique Coventry

Post by Nigel H-J »

came across this on you tube.

Beautiful shot of the engine start of the Vampire, the pilot was the one that flew the Dove when I went there over a year ago........though seems longer than that somehow!!

I just loved that Nigel,I was there on that day as I was last year. This year I flew on the Dak G-AMPY,in fact I saw her passing over today en-route to and from Doncaster. The pilot of the Vampire was John Corley. The AA events always seem to be such friendly affairs.Best Wishes EricT

Enjoyed that Nigel.I had the pleasure of flying to Duxford on the twinpin a couple of years ago on a day which was brighter but much windier.Lovely old machine.ATB EricT
