Don't go giving my beer away.. unless it's to me
The AA participation is documented mate but lets not forget that this was a job. The work was put out to tender and AA got the contract. We know that they wouldn't put their own aircraft out looking shoddy and there's no way would a refurb for the BBMF be any less so

What I meant was that none of the reports on TV which I saw seemed to mention that the work was 'outsourced'.I presume that the type or amount of work required could not be done by the BBMF team.Anyway it's grand to see her flying again.ATB EricT

Hi Eric,
It is that :dance: I remember it getting a mention when it went into refit last year.. probably on the local news up in the Midlands as it made a change from hearing Boeings going into Coventry
Ultimately, the press aren't concerned with who did the work.. just that she's flying again
