Grief.. you lot have certainly learned well from the 'Master'

I don't think you can go wrong with a Breitling regardless of what CT said. They're classic timepieces and built to the highest standards. Love the Omega though. If it's good enough for James Bond.. then it's good enough for me

I have one of these (2nd one down) with a blue face and the leather strap replaced by a more durable nylon-webbed design..

TBH.. it doesn't keep time like my very much cheaper Casio WaveCeptor but it has a lot more style  I'd want more if I were piloting for real but I'm not so this will do

Great suggestions amigos... bottom line nothing tells time like a Cassio, which is more in line with my budget

However, the REVUE THOMMEN is a good option. The Breitling, Omega and rest are good choices also, I'm thinking conversation piece more than time piece. Most cockpits have built in time and stopwatch functions so unless a major malfunction occurs (as they do regularly!) more bling is what I want.

Here is another piece I like, and with a nice history:

The Rolex GMT Master, originally developed at the request of Pan Am Airways, to assist pilots in transcontinental flights.
