Moving things, this is the path I took download cv_74.zip and bglx180.zip from Flightsim.com and fs2004_sdk_bglcomp2_setup.exe from Microsoft.
Read the Moving stuff bit in the readme from cv_74 which explains how to edit the xml file and recompile it using bglcomp, practice on the cv_74 a couple of times as moving Ark Royal and escort is more involved as you need to decompile the bgl to get the xml file.
Do'nt know if there are any tutorials I certainly have'nt seen one I found out by trial and error.
Moving the ship is the easy bit the lights ( maybe 80 of them) the wake, the smoke, the ensign and the steam effects x4 takes a little longer, so far I have only moved the stern lights
I will not upload the xml's for Ark IV, Ark V or the escort because of copyright etc and as encouragement for others to have a go

Sorry should have said all that is in Fs 9, even though I have the Release to Manufacturer pressie from Ms for being a good beta tester I have never installed it for various reasons.
Yes Mr Swallows stuff works here in the Philippines with no problems
I am trying to put together a simple tutorial on using the tools to do the job, but am not to bright on that sort of thing so may take a day or two, since learning how to do it I have had a lot of satisfaction moving ships plonking lighthouses around the Philippines even rebuilt RAF Llandow on top of VFR scenery, Tonks you may have noticed it if you have flown in and out of St Athan a dissused airfield a couple of miles west and taking off / landing to/from the west you would have passed over the house I was born in
