Hi John (et-al)
Finally.. the 600hr mark is officially broken and I'm safely back at LHR with 'GB' none the worse for wear. A -32fpm landing but under the circumstances, I'm still very happy. Rarely have I wanted to hit the BOD so much!!
I routed this time via NIZ then CBP which took me 30nm to the east of GAP and 22.7nm to the east of TDP.. not a lot but enough
In answer to your question John, yes.. I let FSNav fly the plan for me as it's always been very efficient. I can't fathom why it brings certain aircraft in higher or lower than others but that's one of those things. In the Vanguard and Viscount, I rarely see one white on approach while in the VC10's.. I come in as if I'm doing a 'Tactical Landing' in a C130!! Of course, the best solution is to unclick 'Fly Flightplan' as your ILS becomes active but it's still odd why it brings some in so low and others high. Best is the Trident3 which is reasonably accurate without using the aircrafts onboard systems.
Anyway.. that's by the by. I have saved the return flightplan for further use so fingers crossed, I don't find any more 'holes' in the meantime
GolfBravo is now available for comment still in the very high 99%'s (takeoff from DTTA was 99.9) and has 7500kg onboard
