Coming soon: Lancastrian

Post by mjahn »

Hi everybody,

Just wanted to notify this forum that Paul Edwards is in the final phases of long-range flight testing and that we hope to be able to upload the Lancastrian in the next few days. Comes with three liveries:

And on this video clip (3 min 22) you can see her fly over some "original" locations right now ...

One of my all time favourite aircraft, this one. I already have the Plane Design Lancastrian, and will be very interested to compare the two.

Tks Manfred. Paul mentioned a couple of days ago that this was in the offing and were we able to make it pay it's way.. it would be an immediate choice for the VA. Unfortunately, the revenue structure is such that this just isn't possible.. theres just no way we can get 13pax to cover the fuel costs

Nontheless.. a smashing addition to the freeware fleet on many folks PC's

Top Banana  A very nice presentation too....very evocative of the era. I along with a great many others will certainly be looking forward to this one when it is available.

Great work to all involved on this one

Regards.

very nice presentation, so will this be an alternative to the plane-design lancastrian (ie. includes VC) or 2D panel jobby?

i've always thought it was a great looking plane and has been on my wishlist for a while.

To Hinch and Paul K

We are just a couple of amateurs (apprentices in fact) so go easy on the comparisons with PDs effort. And No, we don't do anthing but 2D panels.

No doubt VCs are on Manfreds 'to learn' list.

Ta for the interest

Paul
