Yo Dave
All nav lights look like that on all the models I have when the view is zoomed out.
It's as if everything zooms out but the lights stay much the same size.
This is also on control tower and other airport lights....no idea why

At times like this the best thing you could do is put 'recorder module' in Google search
Then everything you want to know about it is instantly available.
Not saying we don't want to help but best for your sake as you could wait hours for someone to answer......."Just Google it"
Always best as a first option and then you will be up and running before anyone would have replied.

A sufficient amount of googling is indistinguishable from real knowledge

Regarding the looks of the nav-lights: It depends on the Halo.bmp you have on your system....
So many different version out there..
I use one from this package:

Yep..
I couldn't say which one I use but it's one Rick sent me a while back. I'm sure the effect is much reduced using the non-standard halo.bmp
