Hi all,

Who needs an aircraft when you can do this in the air. This guy is nothing short of spectacular!

Crikey! That looks dangerous! And fun!

Heh I would still prefer having 4 turbojets under my wing like that other guy

Strewth!! was that for REAL?? As you watch the first clip of him from the ground the video appears to miss a few frames when he is coming down the side of the mountain. Also the shadow showing his figure on the snow from the camera he had attached shows that he appears to be wearing a cloak. When he left the helicopter he was just wearing a tight fitting ski suit!!

Just appears a bit too unreal for me but then again, will keep an open mind :dunno:

It's 100% real. The "cloak" is a flying wing suit. When the wings are deflated (between the body and arms and between the legs) it's not always readily apparent that one is wearing a wing suit instead of a standard jump suit (which is simply a wing suit without the wings although the jump suit came first ).

The guy is pretty much crazy. He's also flown his wing suit with a pair of R/C turbojets attached to his ankles and gotten a fairly substantial increase in range (in fact, I believe the video of the flight was up on here some time ago).

Hi Chis

Your right, that Rocketman video was posted on here sometime back

I hadn't realised it was the same guy but that suit did look familiar.

The guy who jumped off a hot air balloon with engines stuck to his feet in a wingsuit and the guy with 4 engines mounted on a wing are not the same people?
