Hi,

I see all these lovely liveries for the Tornado but I find the DSB plane difficult to land as the first few flap settings give a very high descent rate needing about 95% thrust to maintain something decent and the application of full flap seems to kill the speed into the stall.

Is this correct and would that last bit of flap only be applied at the last minute or even on the ground ?

I've tried tweaking the FD files but the 80 degree flap still kills the speed and requires almost full thrust to stay flying.

Anybody fixed this or is there a more flyable version, or is it just me ......

We have that one at TVA. I don't know about the original, but here's some lines from the [flaps.0] section in our version. It's been a couple of weeks since I last flew her, but I don't remember having any dificulties on approach or landing.
