First VA Flight Completed

Post by Nigel H-J »

Well I did it!!

First flight from Stanstead to Dublin and return though the return flight was done rather hastily as my dear wife was cooking the in-flight meal which had to be consumed on the ground so a rather hurriedly change of flight plan whilst airborne was conducted to hastened my arrival time.

None-the-less a very enjoyable experience though through-out the flight I found myself double checking everything I did to ensure that I did not incure any penalty points for the VA.

Next flight will be planned when dinner isn't!!!
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

Well done Nigel

Keep an eye on what fuel you're buying (and the cost) for each flight and before you know it, you'll be saving up for your own 'private' aircraft  Btw.. my dinner usually turns up while I'm on approach!! No sense of time these women
