My Painter's Cee Vee

Post by Pops »

Some shots of my past work, CBFS and Non-CBFS type stuff. Lots more on Flightsim.com. mainly JASDF (I've always admired their paint jobs).

yes, there has been issues with some people, depending on who your ISP is, not getting access, but I along with many others, have not had a problem. we think it is due to the DNS being in the process of transferring, so please check back every day

Tks DC  I'm BT so I doubt that would be a problem but like you say.. it's likely to be a DNS problem.. which reminds me, I have to remind Ben to move ours!

DB, i am getting frustrated with the site issues, as i dont think it is an ISP issue now either, as there are people on the site at present, who have BT as an isp. also, members who had access yesterday, have no access today??? however, there are a bunch, like myslef, who have never had a problem? anyone shed any light on such a problem? maybe Ben here, can have a stab at the problem

Rgr that mate. Whatever has happened has happened very recently as I've never had a problem getting in at all.. other than when you've physically taken the site off for some reason. It's an odd one for sure and I fully understand your frustration.

We have had similar probs here that were linked to our virtual DNS being in one place and the site being in another.. hence Ben's desire to move the DNS but I think while this problem has happened, no one has been able to access. A total tw@t as there's been nothing wrong with the site itself :poke:

Ben has been up to his ears recently but perhaps DanKH can offer some assistance as he knows about these things

basically, last week, we moved our site. We purhcased a VPS system, and moved the site last thursday, did all the DNS nameservers etc, and since then, i , along with a load of others can access the site 24/7 no probs, others access randomly, and others, like you, still cant access.

initially i was told it was down to the DNS taking upto 72 hours to propergate, but it has been 5 days, and people on the same ISP, such as BT, do not have sam symptoms, which points away from ISP propergation

if anyone has any ideas, let me know, as all the VPS owners say, is they can access it, and find nothing wrong with the setup
