Changes over at CBFiles.

Post by thehappyotter »

There have been a lot of changes this week over at CBFiles and this post is to let our contributers know what's different and what they need to do differently.

Files are now uploaded via the 'repository' script.

The old upload script was totally seperate from the downloads script so there was a lot of boring manual work to be done by me, Leif or Miggers before a file could be downloaded. I hope to have changed all that with this.

If you want to upload a file to CBFiles you should now go into the 'File Library' and at the bottom you should see 'Submit File'.

This is what should be clicked on instead of the link on the main menu, which is staying for the time being incase the new way doesn't work properly...

The layout and design have totally changed too.

Hope it's ok posting this here but people just tend to come to CBFiles for the files and not read a thing...

Rob.
