Because the aircraft I'm in is a VC10 placed on the apron somewhere.
The aircraft in the picture is an AI aircraft.

But yes, nice shots. I've still got to put this scenery on to my retro install, I think your pictures may have persuaded me to do it this evening!

I'm impressed every time I open the KaiTak scenery.
Impressed that Jim and companions has made it possible for the AI to use the curved approach!
