Post by Seat7A »

Hi
I have the fantastic DM BAC 1-11 but I can´t flip the autopilot master switch on or off. Can anyone here help?

Hello Thomas,

Presumably you're clicking the switch on the AP panel ? What happens if you use the Z key to switch the autopilot on or off ?

Cheers

Hi Thomas

Are the avionics turned on?

BTW I have been told that using "Z" may cause the AP to not work correctly

Yes, i think the avionics are turned on. Perhaps you could tell where to to look for that gauge.

Hi Thomas,

The avionics master switch is located below the chinagraph speed card on the LH side (non BEA/BA aircraft) and below the Radalt on BEA/BEA aircraft (also LH). AP master switches work fine on both versions I have matey so I'm not really sure why they're not on yours
