Conway (6 pictures)

Post by VEGAS »

Hi all,

further to my Snowdon pictures the other day, I decided to explore the North Wales coast this afternoon in the beautiful Shorts Solent. Bet the locals have'nt seen one of these moored up here before!

Thanks to Jens Kristensen for a fantastic model.

Hi Eddie

Does it work in FS.9?

Or is there an FS.9 version?

Hi Garry,

Not entirely sure matey. The VFR stuff all came on a disc specifically for FSX and the demo was provided as a taster of whats on the way. My guess is that it does'nt.

Thanks Eddie. Looking a bit closer, I don't really think that sailing boat should be beached with its sail up.. do you?? I don't ever remember Conway being surrounded by giant trees either but there you go  (getting picky now cause it's not for FS9) :poke:

Maybe not quite a Solent and maybe not quite in the Conwy, but there was an RAF flying boat base at Beaumaris, just across the water on Anglesey. From pics I've seen the RAF flew mainly Catalinas from there and it seems a Saro Lerwick or two managed to stagger that far as well.

Neither of them anywhere near as pretty as a Solent though
Regards
Kit

Yes, it should do. As long as the 3D demo is ticked in the scenery settings then it should be there.
