I just booked a flight in the Viking from Brum to Manchester (to return the airframe) and on selecting the aircraft, I got the following message..
Flight booked.
No PAX-bonus given due to conflict with partnership airline.
I quickly went to the 'Overview' page and saw GLOBAL UK in red. I presume that as they're shown red, they're a 'tryer/requester' rather than an actual partner. It will be interesting to see what figures I get at Manchester. Off there now
The partnership request has been declined but that wouldn't have been the reason for a lost pax. Looking at the route Birmingam - Manchester, Global are undercuttting the standard fare so effectively we are more expensive to fly with, one of the little problems that may occasionally occur with the economy side of the FlyNET programme.
I see.. Perhaps we should price them out of extinction on that route John.. let's say a dollar per head (total.. not undercutting by) More to the point.. how's about you delete their airline then buy all of their aircraft to sell of for a dollar a time.. bunch of @*%?ers!!
Another alternative is to make my own flights out of Brum for the Viking and undercut them then delete the flight after it's made.. or is this being petty??
