FSX Sounds

Hi Chaps. irstly I haven't check on any ther forums yet, just thought I'd pose the question here first.

I Notice that in FSX the sounds for FS9 aircraft are a bit... strange. If I use the VC10 as an example, the engines sound as though they are at full throttle most of the time, and you hear the engine sound when your in the cockpit... and its the same on my other FS9 aircraft in FSX. Is there a list of things that I should change in the various cfg files? Any pointers would be much appreciated.
