Do we really need all those sticky?
The A & R forum seems to be more or less static because of all the stickies. Are they all really necessary?

Hi Dan,
I agree that this area does seem a little static but I can't think off the top of my head how else to maintain 'useful' info without it either merging into one thread or letting it slip down the page making it (ultimately) difficult to find. Any suggestions welcome

Hi Dan,
As Dave has said, they are stickied to stop them getting strewn amongst other threads and should be used by pilots as a check before they operate a new aircraft. When I get requests for TR's I do try and remember to remind pilots to check for any mods required. Tingwall is still valid, unless M$ have patched FS9 to fix the runway width. Maybe a separate thread for 'Mods' may be appropriate and migrate those stickies across to it. If it were to be, maybe lock the forum so admins only are able to post and everyone else has read only access? As for the forum area being static, I don't think it is.
