600th Flight

Post by DaveB »

Yo Guy's..

This century (600th) belongs to Vickers finest.. the VC10  My actual 600th VA flight was done in ARVB (1101 EDDF-EGLL) and to continue into this particular hundred, I chose the 'Super' ASGC (EGLL-LIRF). Chuffed to bits and a -3fpm landing t'boot. I can't remember when I last flew a Super it's been so long ago which makes this even more special  Turned off and parked with 46kg less than planned but I reckon this is close enough

No peace for the wicked.. return flight booked

Well done Dave. You're certainly racking up the hours, our less active pilots don't know what they're missing. Keep up the good work.

Ooo dear, a thousand seems a very long way off Hobby but I'm sure I'll get there eventually

I just love this VA thing to bits and you guy's being here make it so much fun. I fly everything we have with the exception of the Argosy and this keeps my interest high and my choice of routes as big as it can be. OK.. it's not so easy having to remember settings for gad-knows how many aircraft but again, that's part of the fun

Pat yourselves on the back guy's as my 600 is your 600 cause I'd surely not have done it without you :drinkers:

607 and counting. Outrageous Dave.

It's the hours that scare me, all at 1x rate as well.
22 full days worth of time since May.

Can't help wondering why don't you fly the Argosy.
If it's the lights, I've got a different version of the lights gauge that makes the switch reliable with FlyNet. I now fly without fear of landing light offenses. If you want the altered gauge I can post a link here.
If it's just down to it being an ugly lump, then I can't help.
