Hermes scenery

Post by chockhead819 »

I need a BIG BIG favour, with UKMILs SHAR FRS1 out, I was wondering if someone could possibly make me a scenery file of the Hermes situated about 20/30 to the East of the Falkland Islands.
thanks in anticipation

OK, I've moved the Hermes down to the South Atlantic

You can download it here: http://daveg.cbfsim.org//misc/Falklands.zip

Maybe a bit far out, but it's where the original Alphasim version was.

S51* 33.3803' W54* 28.4196'

The ICAO code is set as HRMS

Tower freq 121.200

VOR & DME 115.80

Briefly tried in FS9, all seems OK. Not tried in FSX - use at your own risk etc.

Just developed a problem anyone have an ideas.
I installed Hermes nr the Falklands no problems, i then installed
FREEWARE SOUTH ATLANTIC PACKAGE by JCFHowell.
I start on the deck of Hermes & fs9 crashes then restarts or i fly from the island towards Hermes, i get about 10 miles away from Hermes then the game crashes & restarts again.
So do i have to delete the scenery to keep the Hermes? or is there away round it. When i try to use flight planner ie Goose Green to Hermes, Hermes doesnt register on the gps.

Installed the scenery, no problems

Started on Hermes, headed to the Falklands, then the reverse, no crashes :dunno:

Chockhead..

It seems like you may well have an afcad problem down there mate. Try, if you can, to see what afcads are loaded for the Falklands then delete a few until the prob goes away. Reloading FS is so much more tiresome

the only afcad is the one on Hrms with 3 spots. I uninstalled fs9, put in HRMS no probs, put in SA scenery & it ccrashed.
The problem seems to be around the ship its self.I flew from Mount Pleasant, Goose Green & other FIGAS runways no problems again until i got close to the ship then crashed again. So it would appear to be something about the ship, how can I clear the ship of all AFCAD, Just delete everything?
