Skyvans, Islanders and Trislanders
Hi Guys,
Routes are in place for the Skyvans and you'll find two of them at EGPF awaiting you. Islanders have been deployed to EGJJ, EGHC, EGPF and EGPA and I'll be starting to add routes for them within the next couple of days. Trislanders have also been deployed and they are at EGJJ, EGPF and EGPD. Again, I'll be adding routes for these also within the next couple of days.
Skyvan model is available through the link in the "New releases and Support" forum and a couple of nice paints are available in the Repaint forum. Hopefully these are available also at CBFiles now or in the near future.
Islander/Trislanders are Marcel Kuhnt's models. The FS2k2 repaints for the Islander fit the FS9 model ok and there are a fair few paints available. Trislander repaints are all FS9 and are mostly Aurigny/RockHopper/Blue Island plus a Lyddair. No Loganair trislander paints that I can find so I'll make a request through the repaint forum and see if anyone wishes to tackle a couple. In the meantime those nice folk at Aurigny have sent a couple of trislanders up to bonnie Scotland.
All Skyvan/Islander/Trislander fleet aircraft have an available repaint to suit the registrations.

John,
As a by the by.. I have flown G-XTOR and G-BEDP to Guernsey which will now be their permanent base. The remaining two aircraft can stay at Jersey for a while to give me an idea of useage. I'm not keen on buying tickets where it's not necessary so this gives pilots flying into either GUE or JER the option of picking a Trislander up without the need to transfer

Hi Garry,
There is (was) an Alderney based operator if I'm not mistaken (Rockhopper). Do you know if they were Alderney based mate?? Seems difficult to imagine them not having at least ONE aircraft on the island at any one time so we may need to buy a couple more!

Tobt Le Cocqs was the name of the shop (supermarket) that originally started it to help get supplies............it's a surname, not a place
