Fuel valve(s)

Post by Fors »

This i a request for Fraser McKay and David Maltby, or anyone else having a good hint.

I'm in the process of updating my panel for Manfred Jahn's Pembroke.
I did get some good info from Jon Corley, Chief pilot on Air Atlantique, about startup and shutdown procedures, which I'm implementing.

One problem thou, I need Switch-operated fuel valves for Left and Right engines. Most of the free shutdown XML-codings I can find are using "Mixture Settings Rich/Lean" for this purpose, but I have already used this for the "Slow Running Cut-Off" function.

Do you possible have a solution for this, on the shelf?

Hi Lars,

Just noticed this thread

I'm no expert on pistons, but have you used the (A:GENERAL ENG1 FUEL VALVE,bool) and associated K:TOGGLE_FUEL_VALVE_ENG1 mouse click command? which I use on turboprops for the switch operated Low Pressure Fuel Cocks, which sound similar to what you need.

Cheers

Fraser
