The Ultimate FS9 video?

Post by speedbird591 »

I decided to follow CB's advice and visit the Avsim FSX forum and see if it was as controversial. But I didn't get past the top post as everybody was raving about this FS9 'End of an Era' video. It really is very good, so I think I'd better mention it. It's a 39Mb zip download in .wmv format.

Warning 1: the download site (FS2004.com) has an annoying ad with a buzzing mosquito on it. Don't spend ten minutes trying to find the source of the buzzing (like I did!).

Warning 2: when you click on 'download file' the next page has a big FREE DOWNLOAD button in the middle. DON'T click it as it is an ad! Go for the little 'skip' button top right corner and you get the file run/save box.

It's worth the effort

Hi airboatr. This is the answer that Max (the film maker) gave in response to the same question on Avsim:

Thanks guys, I'm running....

Asus A8N-SLI motherboard
AMD 64 3500 Socket 939.
1Gb PC3200 Ram
ATI X1800XT 256mb

Nothing outrageous really.

Glad so many people enjoyed this video. I never thought it would do nearly 6,000 downloads since Sunday. Crazy numbers....

Max.

BTW He's done another one on Kai Tak using the FlightSoft Hong Kong program. It's also excellent but not as good as this and a nearly 100Mb download. http://www.maxkraus.com/videos/KaiTak98.zip

thanks speedbird

I have a
Pentium (R) D 820 socket 2.8 ghz
dual chanel ddr2 3200 memory 2 gig
6600fx Nvidia card
Audigy 4 64 bit ready
and I have XP media center OS
can;t remember the MOBO (it's a gateway)
but it too is 64 bit Com  patible??

Mine shutters real bad with some of the addon scenery
or in the VC of a good AC over default scenery
and I couldn't imagine what mine might do if I had all the
AI going too
this is very frustrating
I'm sure I have the drivers proper and ..............ahhhhhhhhh!
I think I need to tear it down and reinstall everything
:poke: what do you think it will take to fix speedbird
1 stick of dynamite............
or two?
