Where does Rick's water-based creations live ?

Post by FLYINGART »

Hi all,

Rick / anyone, I have seen a few mentions of Mr Pipers Water-based creations, and going by the superb airborne types, I was wondering are they available for download, or have I completely missed the boat on this one.
Checked Ricks site but no joy. Any info would be great

Regards

Andy

Andy.. as far as I can remember, Rick only had one 'float' conversion and this was for his Chippie. It never got released though  Dave Garwood did a float version for the DH89 too which DID get released and very nice it is too

Rgr that Garry. The stuff Rick does for VFR remains mostly a mystery to me so I only ever associate him with fine 'flying' creations.

I don't think he released that SRN did he.. or did he??

Hi Chaps,

Sorry yeah I should have put Ferries / boats etc etc.

Saw a hovercraft screen-shot the other day so it got me thinking about whether they are out and about. :dunno:

I'm presently trying (without much success so far) at turning the AI BHC AP1-88/100 from the IoW scenery package into a 'flyable' model.

I came across some screen shots the other day at fs shipyards but nothing to down load I belive Rick withdrew the scenery from the vfr site.
I have not been able to find where he has hidden it

A lot of stuff shown is work in progress so it is not available.

I am sure if it was it would be obvious.

It can never be assumed that anything is ready for download.

This is general not just with Rick stuff.

As to Rick he is a master craftsman and is very thorough and won't release anything until he is ready.

Well if the sea craft are as detailed as his aircraft, then it will be a nautical fest in the sim. Looking forward to giving them a try.
