When size matters.........

........Make yer own - So I am! Bigger than what is already available.

These are work in progress shots (non-flying model)

.......Gives an idea of size: 52cm long, 47cm span, though hand looks enormous, making model look a tad smaller than what it is!

1/72 scale would have been too big for shelf. It's made from Balsa and card, but firm enough so it can't be accidently squeezed. Wings have wooden spars set into balsa 'centre section' part.

I'll post more when painted in RAF white/grey. I've also made a Beverley, and am working on an Andover.

Well CHris

I'm impressed

It certainly has the right look about it as far as overall shape is concerned.

Should be a masterpiece when finished

Well done

Nice to see someone making a "large scale" Queen of the Skies

Looks terrific Chris - I wish I had that much patience (and time)
