This is a feature you don't see at many airports...This storm drain is alongside the taxiway at Eastleigh, Nairobi :-
This occurred during one night flying session...The chap got a bit disorientated and went off the side of the taxiway, with the result shown.
He was not too popular with the Boss, because as you can see from the insignia...it was the Boss's aeroplane!!

I supppose in some places they could be useful to leave them open as that would also serve to help keep animals out.......especially in the pre security fence days...as well as keeping aeroplanes in! :roll:

Brilliant Pics, I have heard about bad parking but the ones shown are ridiculous, some people need driving lessons let alone flying lessons

At least someone remembered to fit the pitot cover, on the Venom.
