New Job

Post by Charlie Bravo »

I'm on the move again!

I resigned from Monarch today and as from July 24th I'll be a despatcher at LCY. I shall be based on VLM Fokker 50's and I can't wait to get started.

Hope you like it CB... I know LCY was more expensive to commute to for you but its probably a nicer atmosphere and surroundings, dispatcher is a step up isnt it too? Funny as I was just passing through Luton today on a 125...... train that is  on my way back from a job interview

Thanks mate.
I'm not a fan of Luton or it's airport and of the 3 airports I've worked at, LCY was the best.
In terms of job role, I'd say it's a step up although it's 3k less a year. Theres plenty of overtime available though.

My contract at Monarch was only temporary anyway but I 'm chuffed that I'm moving back to LCY.

My airport history so far.....

Luton
Stansted (+LGW for a day on overtime)
London City
Luton
London City

Just Heathrow to go....

Well done Chris......Surely far better to be down slightly on income with a permanent job than just relying on a temp contract.............But then again...... there is always the overtime!!

Indeed, and I'd rather be out on the ramp for 8 hours as opposed to 12 hours in an office.

Thanks for all the kind messages chaps
