Flight Planning

Post by DanKH »

To avoid the in-built route-planner I use these two:

RouteFinder
to generate the route.

Copy the lower output from the result page into:

FSRoute
And generate a ready-to-use FS2004 pln file.

Thanks Dan

I have a couple of aftermarket GPS units that will not work with .fsn compiled files (FSNavigator). I will not use the default planner under any circumstances so it's nice to have an alternative

Glad it was useful, anyway, you have to tweak the output a little from RouteFinder (remove the DEPT and first leg, and last leg including Destination, but otherwise it works fine...

A little mending will do the works
