Perplexing problem

Post by Avant-Garde-Aclue »

As I fly mostly Vanguards in the CBFS VA I have been downloading as many repaints as I can find to increase my fleet to fly those aircraft registered for the VA.

I downloaded the Silver City, the ABCex BEA, and Holdings repaints, followed the intructions in the read me, put the texture in the aircraft file and added the the texture text into the config and numbered them in consecutive order to the previous paints.

The textures named above will not show, on opening the aircraft in FS the is a black box where the revolving aircraft is displayed, and sometimes a popup message image cannot be shown. I tried selecting one of the aircraft and FS immediately seized up, and my system crashed. On restarting I tried again thinking it was a glitch in my system, but it happened again.

What have I done wrong in the way of downloading and installing these repaints? All other repaints work perfectly which leaves me wondering how I've messed these ones up

Regards

Sean

You've done nothing wrong Sean, I had the same problem. The Merchantman model which these paints go on is missing from the pack you downloaded. Garry Russell kindly sent me the relevant files, and service was oon back to normal. I still have the files, but Im not sure whether I am free to redistribute them. Im sure that when Garry see this though, he will be able to send them to you too
