Flew the Gatwick - Jersey flight today. Will make the return tomorrow (stupid work...). Comments -
Routing was the Southampton Departure from Gatwick's 26L the N886 airway to ORTAC and then the Jersey 1A arrival for runway 27. Weather clouds and rain at both ends for MVFR or high IFR conditions with 20+ knot winds. Smooth flight at 16,000 feet using good old charts with the NAV radios, no FMS, no GPS. Flown on VATSIM network, with little hope for ATC this time of the afternoon. Flew the ILS 27 at Jersey and parked at Stand 5.

Faults - None inflight, however planned fuel at 1500 KG/hr plus reserves with a 1 hour trip to the alternate. Flight shows that 700-1000 KG/hr would be a better number. Return flight can now be made without fueling the aircraft at Jersey however, so is not a major concern as loss for this flight will be made-up in next flight or 2.
