No Gordon.....that just means you're being thorough and doing a proper job.
It's comming along beautifully
Nice one
Thanks for the kind words Garry. There's a lot of room for improvement but I'm pleased with how its turned out so far. The biggest pain was having to make the hangars using gmax, certainly not for the faint hearted. Don't know how many times I had too redo them as I was learning the program as I went along. Hangars not very detailed but I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. Maybe in the future I will experiment in adding more detail as I learn more
Who wants a bodged job. These things take the time they need and as you are learning........which never stops........it does mean going arround in circles. But that improves
Frustrating it can be especially when you spend all day redoing or trying to improve something to conclude at bed time that it was better yesterday.
Mind you the sense of achievement makes it worthwhile.
And it's fun

"In the world of virtual reality things are not always what they seem."
Just in case someone notices, the buildings that are placed next to the grass strips are rwy12 objects. I only made the four hangars which are on the part of the airfield where the flight museum is going to be. Didn't want to claim work that someone else done.
Looking very nice I had the pleasure of visiting this airfield a few weeks ago and also the chance to look over Concorde stored there, look forward to going back even if it is virtual
