Accidental multiplayer?

Evening all

As a bit of an occasional flyer in FS2020 I decided to go for a bit of a buzz out of Duxford this evening in the Flying Iron Spit. When the flight loaded I was slightly shocked to find myself at the end of the runway surrounded by a number of other Spitfires, a DC3 and various other warbirds. I took off did a circuit and watched them take off and then I formated on them and flew with them for a while.

Trouble is I have no idea where they came from, I don't have any multiplayer set up as far as I know, but I seem to have gate crashed somebody else’s party.

Does this often happen in FS2020? It was actually quite good fun trying to stay with them, I'm sort of guessing they couldn't see me though?

Any idea how this happened?

Happens to me frequently
