MikeW (emfrat) Queensland floods???

Post by Airspeed »

Hi Mike,
We know that you are West of "Sunny Brisbane". The flood maps seem to show floods everywhere West, North-West, South-West of Brisbane.
Are you OK?

Cheers Mike - The flooding is a good 4-6 hrs drive further west. We got some of the rain, and I see on the radar a bit more to come, but nothing like what they got. Absolute disaster for livestock, many graziers facing financial ruin. 350mm in a few days when your annual rainfall is barely 100mm!

Thanks Ben. The area flooded is larger than the state of Victoria, where airspeed Mike lives. Victoria is just a tad less in area than the whole UK.
