What interests me, Brian, is that these major rebrandings (is that a word?) are not done on a whim. Someone has spent a lot of time and money on this and has convinced the Condor management that this is just what the airline need for its new image. I can't help wondering if it will end up being seen as as big an error as BA's 'World Tails' fiasco.

Time will tell.

The posters on the airliners.net forum are very divided on this new livery. Some love it, some hate it. Like you said Pete...time will tell. Speaking of BA's 'World Tails' I remember back in the day Mrs. FlyTexas flying from Dallas to London-Gatwick on a 'World Tails' 777. Its livery was named 'Delft Blue Daybreak'. I remember it like it was yesterday. *sigh*.
I always liked the BA world tails... there were some interesting pieces of artwork in there and I liked the variety. I guess I'm a minority...
Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.

Yep, that's the one. Mrs. FlyTexas loved flying to London on that jet. What she didn't like was changing aircraft at Gatwick and getting on a "tiny" 737 for her flight to Helsinki.
